Beyond the Pitch Deck
Cinematic storytelling for founders, funds and the people who back them. We make the investment case legible — and keep it working long after the raise.
Capital moves on conviction, not information
neXus Point Pictures works with startups, venture funds, accelerators and innovation hubs to turn complex ventures into stories that capital can act on. A deck explains the opportunity. A film makes people believe it — and, crucially, makes them want to pass it on.
The Film
The story behind the number. Founders and investors on camera, explaining the calls they actually made — the patient capital, the terms, the moment it turned. This is the asset that survives a forwarded email.
The Platform
Where the film lands and keeps earning. Investor and LP hubs, portfolio libraries, demo-day and cohort platforms, gated founder resources — built on Kajabi and beyond, so attention converts into a contact you own.
The Campaign
Reach is engineered, not hoped for. We build the distribution around the named founders, funds and institutions inside each story, so the film arrives in front of the right capital through the people it already trusts.
The Full Return
A four-part series on landmark Western Australian investment stories, told by the people who backed and built them.
Agworld
A$11.5M raised. A$100M+ exit.
One of the largest technology exits Western Australia has produced. Perth-born, backed early by patient local capital, acquired at a unicorn valuation — with the investors explaining the calls that made it possible.
Founded in 2009, Agworld built one of the world’s first cloud-based farm-management platforms, putting growers, agronomists and banks on a single live dataset. Yuuwa Capital led the way; Syngenta Ventures followed. By the time Semios acquired it in 2021, the platform managed 100 million paid acres across five countries.
Subcon
An A$8.4M sale that kept compounding.
The founders of a Perth marine-engineering firm took scrip instead of cash. When the acquirer was later taken private in a A$1.1bn deal, that one decision changed everything. The film every founder should watch before negotiating an exit.
Subcon’s seabed-stabilisation and artificial-reef IP sat squarely in the path of offshore wind. Half the 2022 sale to MMA Offshore was paid in shares — and when Cyan Renewables bought MMA outright in 2024 at a 36% premium, those shares cashed out at the top. A story about the deal after the deal.
OncoRes Medical
A$27M raised. FDA Breakthrough Device Designation.
Spun out of University of Western Australia optical-engineering research to end the one-in-five repeat surgery rate for breast cancer patients. Deep tech, long timelines, and what it takes to keep capital patient.
The Elora imaging system lets a surgeon confirm complete removal during the first operation, in real time. A six-hospital Australian trial has treated more than 110 patients, and a A$27M round closed in February 2026 led by Brandon Capital — with UWA increasing its own stake the year before.
WaveX
From wave tank to King George Sound. First power targeted for Christmas 2026.
Perth-born deep tech: twenty-five years of offshore engineering turned toward the other half of the planet. The patented D-Spar™ generator has no underwater moving parts — scale-model tested with UWA, now heading for a large-scale pilot in Albany’s King George Sound.
Built and backed in WA: Henderson fabricator Scope Engineering is both engineering partner and investor. The Albany pilot is the real-world test patient capital exists for, on the road to 105 GW of wave power by 2050.
Founder and Culture Stories
Raising capital is one audience. Hiring the people who will build the thing is another — and the same craft serves both.
Parrot Analytics
A data-analytics startup needed to show a global culture and attract senior talent. We built the script and plan, filmed on location, and captured additional content at the Cannes Film Festival.

How It Works
1. Discovery. We learn the venture, the thesis and who you actually need to reach — the fund, the cohort, the acquirer, the hire.
2. Production. Broadcast-standard capture. Founders and investors on camera, directed to say the useful thing rather than the safe one.
3. Platform. The digital home where the film converts — investor hub, portfolio library, cohort platform — built to capture who watched and what they did next.
4. Campaign. Coordinated release built around the named people and institutions in the story, so it reaches the right rooms in the first hour rather than drifting.
Clear stages, defined deliverables, and a schedule that holds.
